This Father’s Day, step into a playful, heartwarming picnic scene designed to celebrate the bond between dads and their kids. Our studio set features a bright blue sky with soft clouds, fluttering butterflies, and a cheerful kite drifting overhead. Faux green grass stretches beneath a classic white picket fence, creating a fresh, summery vibe that feels like a sunny afternoon in the park. At the center, a red-and-white checkered picnic blanket invites laughter, snuggles, and shared bites of juicy watermelon, with a vintage-style lemonade dispenser adding a sweet, nostalgic touch. Who:
This session is for the mom and her littles or just littles! Feel free to include Grandma as well!

Set Decor:
See Description - The image is a AI mock up - real set with include much more background elements along the fence line!

Designed with love (and a touch of summertime nostalgia), our indoor picnic scene brings all the charm of a sunny afternoon outdoors — without the bugs or heat!

The Set includes:

-A bright soft blue sky backdrop with fluffy clouds, butterflies, and a kite
-Soft faux green grass flooring and a classic white picket fence for that all-American summer vibe
-A cozy red and white checkered picnic blanket, styled with a basket full of props and nostalgic décor
-Real watermelon slices and a lemonade dispenser so kids and dads can snack, sip, and smile naturally for the camera

👕 What to Wear for Your Father’s Day Picnic Session:

For Dads:
Light, casual button-downs (white, chambray, or soft blues)
Simple polos or henley shirts in earth tones or soft colors (sage, gray, cream)
Khaki or navy shorts, rolled jeans, or chinos
Barefoot or casual slip-ons (or go barefoot on the blanket!)

For Kids:
Sundresses, overalls, or rompers for girls in soft colors or classic picnic prints (like gingham or florals)
Shorts with suspenders, collared shirts, or t-shirts in light, neutral tones for boys
Soft barefoot looks or cute sandals

General Styling Tips:
Stick to light, airy colors like white, cream, soft blue, sage, or pale yellow to complement the blue sky and green grass
Avoid bold logos, neon colors, or busy graphics that can distract from the scene
Coordinating (not matching) outfits work beautifully—think complementary tones and textures

Feel free to accessorize with floppy hats, hair bows, or simple summer layers for personality!

To book:

To book, select an available date below, the deposit is $125 (applied toward session fee or it is the session for for Monthly Mini Membership Plan members). When you fill out the client contract (below) you will select which package you want, which set you are planning and will be invoiced for the balance of your session prior to your session date.

Images are selected from a proofing gallery after the session. Additional images can be purchased once you receive your proofing gallery at a cost of $30/image or sets of 5/$125.

What next:
Once you book your session below, fill out a Session Contract (https://studio120photography.com/holiday-mini-session-contract-and-model-release) it will need to be completed prior to your session date.

Things to Note:

Edited Images will be delivered to you via Dropbox. There is no physical product with this session. Only edited images will be provided. No raw/unedited images are ever sold or released.

Please note there are NO REFUNDS available once booked. In the event that a cancellation needs to occur, contact me and I will do my best to reschedule. If no reschedule dates are available, your $125 payment can be applied to a future session.

No shows the day of will lose their payment. Please communicate if you cannot make it so I can open the slot up for other clients!

Late arrivals may forfeit their session time. Sessions are booked back to back and I will not delay the next session if you arrive late.

You will receive a shoot confirmation email a few days prior to your session date with the studio address and session details!
